FOUNDATION FUNDRAISERSThis year's event was held on the Rooftop Deck at the La Jolla Cove Suites, 1155 Coast Blvd. (across the street from the Cove). Parenst got acquainted with other parents, teachers, and administrators at Muirlands Middle School in a relaxing setting. We had exciting raffle items and were able to fund some of the items on the teacher Wish Lists. If you did not attend or would like to make a contribution after the event, please print this Donation Form and return to the school office.There is no charge to attend the event. A cash bar is available and a nominal donation to underwrite the food is appreciated!
Get a jump on your holiday shopping, or buy something wonderful for yourself. Choose from many special vendors selling jewelry, art, purses, clothing, home accessories and more. The Muirlands Foundation will be selling ceramic tiles for $50 throughout the school year. When you purchase a tile, you will get directions, a brush and the necessary glazes to create your masterpiece. After you finish glazing your tile, you can return it to the Front Office in the box marked “Tiles”. It will then be fired and mounted on the exterior wall of our Auditorium. (Note: Tiles are hung periodically throughout the year.) Don't be left out, leave a lasting mark at Muirlands. For $50, you can also decorate a pole with a favorite quote. Print an ORDER FORM and return it to the office (or mail to the Muirlands Foundation, 1056 Nautilus St., La Jolla, CA 92037) with your payment. MERCHANT REWARD PROGRAMS
The Muirlands Foundation is participating in a powerful fundraising opportunity called eScrip!
Even if you are already enrolled, you MUST RENEW at escrip.com! If you are enrolled at another school, please ADD the MUIRLANDS FOUNDATION at escrip.com! What is eScrip? EScrip is a hassle-free way for schools to raise funds through everyday purchases made at eScrip merchants. All at no cost to you! How does it work? EScrip and over 150 merchant partners have created a system that rewards customer loyalty by contributing percentage of purchases to the Muirlands Foundation (up to 2% of all your grocery purchases at Vons, between 2 and 10% at other participating merchants.) It’s simple and convenient! All you need to do is register your grocery club card and debit/credit card(s): ▪ Log on to www.escrip.com and go to "sign up" ▪ Designate Muirlands Foundation to receive contributions. Our Group ID is 138048015. ▪ Register your Vons Club card and your debit/credit card(s). That’s it! Visit eScrip merchants to shop and earn. Use your Club Card or enter your phone number at Vons and use your registered credit/debit cards at all other participating merchants. Your contribution to Muirlands will be automatic. We can potentially earn hundreds of dollars from your participation alone! Register your Ralphs Card with our coordinator. The “Ralphs Community Contributions” program works the same way: just swipe your card every time you shop! Go to www.albertsons.com to enroll in the “Community Partners” program (Sav·on is also a partner). Even though you have to navigate through a few web pages, it is still very easy: 1. Click on “In the community” at the bottom of the screen.
2. Click on “See Also: Community Partners” and ENROLL If you have a Target charge card, go to any store or to www.target.com/tcoe and enroll in the "Take Charge of Education" program. Give the school ID # 70009218 to the cashier or when you shop online at www.officedepot.com . Office Depot's "5% Back to Schools" program will donate 5% of your qualifying purchases to Muirlands Middle School (computers and technology do not qualify). This program now applies ALL YEAR LONG! Go to www.wamoolaforschools.com to enroll. Follow the directions to register your Washington Mutual debit card and benefit Muirlands MIddle School.
