According to contractor estimates, the cost breakdown for installing FieldTurf on our 110,000 sq.ft. sports field is:

The committee established a funding goal of $1.2 million to cover contingencies. Muirlands Foundation has raised over $220,000 to date.

A turnkey contractor will be selected by the Muirlands Foundation on a competitive basis.

Today's Field
Future with FieldTurf

CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE:

Contractors will require between six to eight weeks of construction time to complete the FieldTurf installation and the running surface.

Given Muirlands’ intensive daily PE schedule, this project can only be accomplished during a Summer break.

FUTURE PLAN LAYOUT

The FieldTurf installation provides usage capacity for school PE classes, school and community sports (including. baseball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey).

One large sports field and several smaller ones fit within the complex.
